What are The Veterinary Leadership Awards?
Annual Awards recognising exceptional achievements in leadership in the veterinary profession at a national level.
This Awards Night is proudly sponsored by Boehringer Ingelheim Australia and the Lincoln Institute.
Best Team Leader Award
The hardest level of leadership in any organisation is the one that not only asks of the leader that they break ranks for the first time, but that they also accept that for the first time in their career, they’ll be valued not for the work that got them promoted in the first place, but for leading others to do this same work.
It’s an entirely unique set of circumstances for a junior leader that can lead to a great deal of anguish, however their ability to make this transition well has an enormous impact on the well-being of the team and the success of the practice.
Nomination included provision of a written submission by the Employer or manager in relation to the nominee.
This submission centred around 12 key leadership criteria and included the areas of personal leadership, team leadership, resilience, emotional intelligence, driving culture, business leadership and financial performance …to name a few.
Finalists and Winner were selected on the basis of assessment of written submissions, and finally a rigorous panel review by Lincoln’s leadership experts.
Where and when do they occur?
